  1. My daughter is pictured. She was very excited to be part of this, and to be able to show to other children that they are not alone. She is very excited about your new site! Great job!!!!!

    • Thanks Holly! I’m so glad your daughter was able to be a part of this album, and that you’re both excited about the website. I really appreciate you taking the time to send feedback with your comment. Tell your daughter I said hello! 🙂

  2. Eilea LOVES to see her picture there and ALL the other kids. She can’t believe how many there are and hardly believes me when I tell her that this is just a handful of the kids in the world that are gluten free! Thanks SO much for doing this!!

    • Hi Erin! Thank you so much for all of your kind words. Your comment is the kind that makes all of the effort so worthwhile….to know that kids out there are realizing they’re not alone. Hopefully the handful of kids in this album will continue to grow and grow. Thanks again for taking the time to let me know how you and Eilea feel. Please tell her I said “hi!” -Katie

  3. My two daughters are pictured! While my youngest doesn’t understand what a website is, my older daughter was beyond thrilled! She loved looking at all the other kids, their ages and where they lived. I think it made her feel like she was part of something special, which we appreciate, because her sister is the only other kid with Celiac that she knows. I did have a suggestion – you might consider changing the “g-free for 7 months” to “g-free since Aug. 2011” or something of the like, since it would be a total pain to update as time progresses.

    Thanks again!

    • Hi Paisley, Glad your daughter was excited to see herself and the other kids on here. I like your suggestion…wish I would have thought of that sooner (!) since, yes, it would be too much of a pain to go back in and update them all. Maybe I’ll do that from now on, unless I can hear back from all 50+ people currently in it, with their month and year. Hindsight really is 20/20, isn’t it?!

  4. My daughter Karli is featured. Although she is only 14mos old and doesn’t understand all the other kids, I love it. Thank you so much.

    • Thanks Cherie! Glad they were excited to see themselves and all of the others…..and to think that’s just a drop in the bucket compared to all of the gluten-free kids around the world! Hopefully this album will really start to grow soon. Thanks for including your two cuties. -Katie

      • They really were! I am sure it will grow and all the kids will realize that there are lots of COOL KIDS like them everywhere!!

  5. We are very excited to have our son included in the g-free kids photo album! Thanks, Katie! This is awesome!

  6. Hello: Aaron was so excited to see his photo amongst all the other kids from around the world who eat gluten free foods. I didn’t tell him he was in the list and he jumped up and down when he saw his picture !!! Great website and good ideas for making gluten free food fun. Aaron is dairy free as well and would love some more food ideas that are GF and dairy free as well. Thanks.

  7. Savannah absolutely Loved seeing her picture on the wall and was so relieved to see so many other kids that follow the same diet as her. She is the only one of her friends that eats gluten free and often wishes that everything was gluten free or that she didn’t have to be. The smile on her face was one of those priceless ones I wish I caught on camera. Thank you for doing this!!!
